The ideal jean length depends on both your height and how you want the style to fall on your leg. Inseam length is measured from the crotch seam to the hem.

"These petal pink Taylors are such a beautiful color-so balanced between a cool and a warm pink that they work with neutrals, and lots of browns and greens. And the feel of the material is super which also makes them a pretty easy hemming job. Taking one size up from your usual is good advice. Pro tip--if VB doesn't have your size, I think that so many were caught unaware of the size discrepancy, that these pants are not hard to find new or nearly new on resale sites for the same price or better."
