Fun Asymmetry!
"Love the style, fit, and color! Doubles as a layering piece. Versatile! Can be dressed up or down. Takes you from cool fall season into winter."
Some alterations needed
"For some reason, VB included a review I did for a different “Mylie mock neck” which featured a much stretchier fabric. This shirt has a heavier only slightly stretchy fabric which drapes differently and the fit on a medium makes the oversized armhole a problem. I still recommend sizing up to a medium if you are usually a small with a 35-37 bust, but you will probably want to sew a small dart on the non-ruched side and an even smaller one on the ruched side to avoid a gappy look under the arms."
Some Advice on Fit
"I usually find VB sizing to be unpredictable so I rely heavily on reviews from real people describing the fit for their measurements and wanted to contribute mine. The tape measure says I’m 37 at the bust and 29 at the waist with a 5’2” height and the medium is perfect either tucked in or not. (In other tops I am often a small and a medium would be ridiculously large!) The material is high quality, has a fair amount of stretch and drapes nicely-works especially nicely with black trousers or jeans."

Strange fit in the armpit
"Overall true to size, but fits strangely in the armpit area, like stretched out. Thankfully it was discounted, but final sale. Otherwise, I would have returned."
Very nice lightweight top. I
"Very nice lightweight top. I usually wear a L and it fits well - but I may size up as it may drape better in a larger size."
This ruching is everything. Blouse
"This ruching is everything. Blouse is gorgeously draped and elegant with matching gray trousers or jeans. It is very form fitted and more narrow in the waist than I would have expected. I needed to have the non-ruched sleeve tailored a bit so it didn't stand out funny, but it was a minor detail to fix."
Doesn’t look good from all angles.
"The shirt is snug/short through the mid section. but sizing up for a proper fit results in very low arm holes that expose the bra. There’s no happy medium. Aside from the peekaboo armpits, the shirt does have flattering draping from the front."
